Chess, anyone?

U&R Dogs stepped out of their normal jewelry releases and crafted this Chess board.  It is playable, color change and keeps score for you (which is great, because I don't know how to play yet).  I was supposed to have a chess partner, but I sort of fell asleep on the porch waiting for him.  Ah well, such is life.  Well, such is mine anyway.   Still have on my Plastik outfit from FFL because I just think its fun and cute.  New Wasabi Pills release also, of course.  My addiction is growing lol. 

I think I'm going to try to mosey on through another couple sims at FFL tomorrow, see what I can get into.  The donation items are awesome, I've already spent too much and I'm going back for more.  I might blog simply to justify all the L's I spend in-world lol.  Get on down to FFL and grab some awesome shiz, check out the incredible builds and spend those L's :D

Tender Moments

When you steal a moment away with someone, it can feel like the world stops.  The moment itself is calm, serene and amazing.  Inside, its chaotic…a whirlwind of emotions that you feel might burst right out of your chest.  To feel that touch, that hug…that sweet soft kiss.  You almost don't want to open your eyes and let the moment be over, it can be that intense.  At some point, your breath will rise and fall together…your heartbeat will become one fluid motion and you won't quite know where your arm stops and his begins.

Of course, if you're lucky (and I do hope you are!) the moment will intensify to the point you can't contain yourselves.  And that, my friends…is when the serious fun starts.  There's something to be said about getting pinned up against a wall and ravaged.  I say yes, and YES again…or you know, moan it…scream it, whatever works for you.  Whether its sweet and sensual or rough and raw, these moments are worth having and remembering.  Make sure you have them often.

With Love, Again – Couple’s Edition

There were a few items left for the With Love, Again Hunt that I hadn't blogged because I had no pixels to do them with.  Luckily for me, this very sweet and pretty man-vi allowed me to borrow him and I got them finished!  Thank you so much, Liq.  ♥

This chair is the WLAH gift from oOo Studio, called Cozy.  There is two couple poses inside the chair, as shown in the photo.  Also, the dresses I'm wearing in the pics are the hunt gift from -paper.doll- and can be worn both as a dress or as a bodysuit with pants. Both colors come included, and the skirt is re-sizeable.  Liq is looking incredibly spiffy in the photo, but nothing on him is actually part of the hunt!  I think he had a hot date later…

{what next} has this really cute lamp post out for the hunt, and it has 4 couple poses as well as single person poses.  Also comes with the caroling book and smart phone attachments to use with the prop.  In addition, the light on the post turns on or off if you touch it.  This one was fun lol, there's so many ways to use the poses I ended up taking about 10 pictures too many and had to choose which ones to use.  Generally, I went for the ones that made my ass look normal-ish sized because some of the pictures made it seem like my ass was about to attack poor Liq.  So, remember everyone…the With Love, Again hunt is on until January 6th and everything in the hunt is 10L.  This is not a freebie hunt, but it is very affordable and as you can see the items are great as well as worth far more!  I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas, and here's to a fantastic New Year!

Dark and Depraved Night

I went to the Razorblade Jacket Sim last night, and while I was being seduced via IM's by a new resident I came across a cruelty of nature.  Santa is getting his ass beat by some gangster elves!  I would have helped but I had on my Maitreya shoes last night and well…I was in a dress!  No puedo.  Someone go help him though, he looks pretty roughed up.

After grabbing a few items from the "A Depraved & Desolate Winter Hunt", I threw an outfit together and once again journeyed out to find a place to meet some new people.  I'm not much for bar/club hopping, so I had no idea where to go and once again ended up on an empty sim.  I mean really, why is it so hard to find the people?  Ah well, the girls were out in full cleavage mode tonight so should a warm body happen along I'll be ready.  The LMD Quin Dress comes with or without the pasties option, and I opted to rock the tiny Christmas trees because you just can't give it all away at once. 

It started to get late, so I knew it would soon be time to go.  There's only so much workin it one can do when no one is there to witness the work at hand.  The quick change is courtesy of Chaos Lost, I opted for red because HELLO.  Red is RAWR.  The Debut dress includes both red and green, the tutu skirt (shown) as well as a tight skirt prim option and the fishnets.  I also threw on my :+*R*+: Twinky Necklace Gold, which is a camping gift but can also be purchased if you are not so much with the patient.  There are matching earrings that are part of the Twisted Krissmus Event as well, if you want to check those out. 

All in all, last night wasn't half bad.  I didn't find anyone to cozy up to, but hell…the hair flips were epic.

I love Buckcherry.

This is a true statement.  I've seen them live twice, first time was in a crowded bar type situation in Pennsylvania.  I almost passed out from the heat and crowdedness of the place (that a word? pfft is now!) and it was still awesome.  Crossfade was also there, and a not so well known band that actually did really well.  I also went to the Kings of Rock concert in Oklahoma City a few years back with my sister and her best friend.  I almost passed out there too, but that was because it was a long ass concert and I was hungry so my blood sugar dropped.  I had to sit on the ground and miss some of the concert!  I was so mad, but yeah I got up for Buckcherry because they are just AHMAZING live.  The lead singer of Hinder was drunk off his ass, I'm almost 99% sure of this, but they also did really well.  He needed to fill space I guess, since they were the last act to hit the stage.  This has nothing to do with anything other then I had been thinking about the song 'Sorry' and how much I like it.  Then I sang it, then youtube'd it and sang again.  Good times!

Back to the actual reason I'm blogging lol, d. Select released some really cute sweater dresses and tights last week.  There are prints for christmas, and the dresses just look snuggly as hell with that little sexy element that everything in DeeTaleZ has.  I'm going to take pictures of the christmas-y prints soon also, they're really cute.  Also, I've had this Sia hair since sometime last year and couldn't remember ever using it in a blog.  Craycray!  I usually use my own shapes, my usual or another that I've made but lately I've been trying to show some love for shape makers.  I'll branch out to other brands eventually, but for the moment I'm loving the cute shapely style at ::Savoir Faire Shapes.  This particular one was put out today for tomorrow's Moody Monday.  If you are a shape purchaser, you should really go grab this one!  It's short and cute, it looked really nice with Al Vulo skin also but I chose my [eStyle] skin for the post.  At 55L, you can't really beat it and they're all mod so bonus!  I can add my signature big puerto rican ass to all the shapes.

In other news, I logged on the other day and found a lil box with stuff in it!  I'm rather shocked when people send me stuff to consider blogging.  I mean, no one really knows who I am lol so its just neat!  Anyway, let me stop being a nerd.  There were some tattoo's and this one was especially cool to me.  I think it comes with this b&w version as well as a colored one, but I'll be honest I didn't really check.  When I put this on I liked it a lot and took the pictures right away.  Snap snap!  My bad for not actually sifting through it all but I will at some point, I'm sure!  Hope everyone's weekend was full of fun!  I'll be back again soon to tell you all what else I've found to dress my dolly in :P

VF 2011 Again!

Vintage Fair is going strong, every time I check the map for a chance to scurry back over there and wander there are a gagillion dots!  This event is running until December 3rd so there is plenty of time to let it die down a bit and go look around at your leisure.  There are so many goodies to be had, a bunch of the designers were kind enough to add little freebies along with amazing things to purchase for all your vintage needs.  There is hair, shoes, skin, outfits for men and women…SO MUCH STUFF!  Don't miss out on this event, its doing so well and if you take a look at Flickr you can see just how inspired all the bloggers and designers have got during this trip through memory lane.

Ooh, Sparkly Things…

This is a bit of a mash up blog, being that I have been showing off many pretties from ::PurpleMoon:: and of course, my always evident adoration of U&R Dogs jewelry.  It's Jewelry Fair 2011 time, and U&R Dogs has released several great pieces!  I wanted to show them all off, so I did so with these lovely ::PM:: Lady Butterfly dresses.  This first set comes in gold or silver, and I took photos of both just because I think they're really pretty.  They're called :+*R*+: Le roi d'Ys Bracelet, Necklace, Pierced Earrings and these are in gold.  This particular Lady Butterfly dress is the Black & Red version!

 

This dress totally blended into the floor but I still wanted to take the photo here lol.  This is the Brown version of the dress, and the necklace is :+*R*+: Xerxes in Silver.  There is also a gold version, all U&R Dogs jewelry is equipped with a resizer that is very easy to use to help fit your jewelry perfectly on your shape.  Full bright can be turned on or off with a few simple clicks on the necklace, as well as any other features the jewelry may have.  The ::PM:: dresses come with an optional alpha layer for your toosh in case it sticks out of the back of the skirt a bit, you can cover that right up.

 

Ah, here we have the :+*R*+: Ondine Bracelet and Pierced Earrings in gold.  The earrings are an amazing price, only 1L!  I like how delicate this jewelry looks on my avatar, I have several RL pieces that you're almost scared to wear because they seem so thin but they're tough as nails and never break.  These remind me of that lol, I'm not sure why though.  The bracelets can be sized to fit your wrist, via touch menu as well.  I am a fan of the lovely shade of purple used for this ::PM:: Lady Butterfly dress.  There are so many amazing jewelry designers taking part in JF 2011 and I'm looking forward to seeing everything that is there as well as seeing all the wonderful photos on blogs and Flickr. 

 

Now, let me take a moment to talk about these awesome poses lol.  They are all from {Just a Pose}, which is also taking part in the Jewelry Fair!  There are two sets of poses made especially for photos with your new jewels.  GYRO Set 1 contains sitting poses, and Set 2 are all standing poses.  I used a couple from both packs to show the great variety you can find.  There are poses that highlight earrings, necklaces and bracelets…even rings.  All the poses helped me a great deal today to show off my U&R Dogs shiny things, so don't forget to stop by and take a gander at the poses as well!  Who doesn't love taking photos of their avi, right?  It's fun!

Oh, I was going to mention the sim I took the photos at.  I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but they are all ready for Autumn already, with all the leaves and trees.  It reminds me of home, California doesn't have changing seasons so pretty red, gold and yellow leaves don't exist here.  Why there was a big piece of cake in back of me at some point is still a mystery, but regardless I still enjoyed the colors in the sim quite a bit so, thank you to Baba Flower Garden sim!

Quicky!

While I was randomly browsing through Plurk, I saw that Strawberry Singh had posted these boots.  I'm a big fan of [Gos], ever since my first pair from Shoe Fair 2 years ago.  This color was not released before and is being set out for FLF.  What a deal!?!  I scooped them up and had to take a picture of them.  The heels can be worn in 3 ways, and I tried to show that but I realized later the front facing pose didn't show the heel.  The backside pic shows them in wedge, as does the small photo on the side.  There is also a chunky heel, and stiletto.  The wedges with these high waisted shorts felt sooo retro, and when you add the new hairstyle from CaTwa its like I was sent back in time!  I love how the hair flies all over the place with my AO.  Anjelyc is such a hair dancer lol.  The shorts are from The Secret Store, and both colors are part of the hunt gift for the Seasons Hunt.  If you aren't doing that hunt, you might be the only one!  There are amazing gifts out, and everyone seems to be talking about it.   Everyone out there, have a fantastic weekend!  Enjoy FLF if you get the chance to check out all the great items set out, enjoy nice weather, spending SL times with friends and loved ones and most importantly, all the RL fuzzy stuff that makes any life worth living.

Some New Releases!

While preparing myself to try The Season's Hunt, I got some new release info!  So, until I finish sifting through my hunt goodies I am sharing these new releases with you all lol.  If you aren't doing the hunt, I really advise you to go for it.  There are some great items being given and a few shops I've never been to that I definitely want to go back to now.  If nothing else, you are going grab a few free gifts that are worth the time it takes to find them.  Anywho, in the midst of hunting I got a look together so I paused and went back home to take a picture.  I have a folder in my inventory of things I've been given or things I have bought that I want to blog so I often check in there for new poses before digging into my regular pose folder.  This may seem weird but I swear it works so well for me, I rarely forget to blog something that I really want to feature anymore!

First off, CaTwa has another new release called Joudy.  I am wearing the dark browns pack, because on occasion I switch it up lol.  I like the swoopy thing in the front, covering one eye sort of mysteriously.  I do my hair like that sometimes, for the sort of sexy I see you out of the corner of my eye vibe lol.  It's got some volume to the top too, so it would work for sure in a burlesque sort of environment.  Almost makes me want to go back and re-do the photo in undies!

The other part of the photo I'm trying to highlight is the eyebrow piercing from U&R Dogs.  The bow is color changeable so in the top picture I put the bows on two different colors to show that.  You can wear two different colors as well as the same, but the amount of colors available are pretty amazing.  Once again, each menu has a sub-menu with several colors.  Perfect to match with any outfit you may have.  In addition, you can adjust and resize it to look exactly how you like and in the positions you want to wear them.  The scripting is super easy to follow, and the possibilities are endless as far as how you move the rings around.  There is a camping version of this piercing available at the mainstore, so stop on by there and float your way to a free eyebrow ring called Dulcinea Eyebrow Pierce Candy.  I don't think the camping is for that long, and yay freebie!

The pose prop I'm using is Dark Brick Wall by Magnifique Poses.  I don't remember exactly when I bought this lol, I know I know…bad bad blogger *sigh*.  However, I do know that it is available at the mainstore location and has 5 poses inside as well as a repositioning script to adjust the poses for your height.  All the poses at Magnifique are cute and very well priced, so definitely get down there and see what you can find!  They do quite a bit of hunts and events, so there is plenty to choose from for all price ranges.   Everyone have a great weekend!  Enjoy yourselves, if you do go out and shop a bit have fun!  Ask me along lol I'll probably go :P
