I saw this video on YouTube the other day that I really loved. It gave me the idea for this blog post, but I wanted to wait until Bouncer's sim was finished because I knew it would be a good spot to take the photos. I have to say, the sim looks so great and I'm very proud of my friend Mr. Criss for all that he's accomplished in so short a time. There are two new pose packs out, as well as a new freebie to commemorate the new location. The poses I used for this post are from the "Jolene" Pose Pack and both photos were taken at different parts of the Bounce This Sim.
In addition to that, as many of you are already aware…FaMESHed has opened and seems to be doing very well! Yay for mesh! There are some truly talented creators taking part in this monthy event and I thought I'd show off a couple more of them. The fact that there is both male and female items, as well as all being exclusive to the event is so exciting. Makes it very interesting to see what designers will be bringing to the table every month. I already can't wait until the June edition and the May has only just begun Head on down when you've got some spare time, if you are a mesh fan its worth it!

The anticipation that one can feel when waiting for a special someone to take that first step, ask for that first date…well, lets be honest. It can be downright agonizing. If that actually happens, its a mixture of relief, terror and jubilation. What do I wear? Where will we go? Will we have things to talk about…I mean, the list goes on. When you take the time to appreciate all the seemingly insignificant things around you, what once seemed so small can seem like a huge deal. Taking in a beautiful sunrise early in the morning, while the world is still so quiet. Staying up late and laying in the grass…staring at the stars when everyone has gone to bed. The thing I like the most is when I was younger, and it would snow in the middle of the night. The streetlights looked like spotlights showing off the snowflakes, and it was so quiet and serene you could feel like you were in a trance. Well, that's how I was anyway lol. Once people start to wake up and cars begin to pass, the magic is kind of over. But for those few hours when all is quiet and you can enjoy it…its worth it. I also like standing outside when its raining in the summertime. The mixture of the rain and the heat is something I've always been a fan of
So, now that I've rambled about a lot of nothing…have you all gone to Pose Fair yet? This adorable birdie with the pose is a freebie from Sparrowtree Studio Poses, and pretty much is a great prop/pose for these upcoming summer months. I've been obsessing for about a month about making a new blog banner, and have yet to do it. Normally I don't procrastinate like this, but at first I didn't know what I wanted to do. Then I thought, oh girls and cars is usually sexy and stuff so maybe that? Then it became a thing with getting a car since I don't drive in SL. I'm a horrid, horrid driver in-world. Seriously. So, the other day Bouncer blogged this car and I thought I'd ask him to allow me to drape myself across it for a few minutes. He graciously agreed to let me do so, and I tried a few poses. I think its a good idea, but I've got some angle details and whatnot to work out until I can finish the banner. In the meantime, I was just messing around in PS with the photo and this came about so I figured I'd blog it! The banner won't be ready for a day or two anyway, so might as well put one of the pics to good use
Also, while I'm mentioning Bouncer…the pose that I'm using on the car is part of a pose pack that Bounce This Poses has available exclusively at Pose Fair 2012. Have you been yet? You definitely need to go!

Pose Fair 2012 officially opens today! From April 15th until April 30th, you are all able to sift through 2 sims and 120 stores of posing and animation awesomeness. This is pretty much blogger mecca, I think. Bloggers are all about poses, after all. How else can we show off all the pretties we find around the grid? There are props with poses, static poses, animations and I might have even seen some dances? Couple poses, single poses, group poses…you name it! However you like taking photos of your time in-world I am sure there is a pose set out there waiting for you to find it!

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the sim itself is amazingly done, and it is worth it to TP to the fair just to see it! Laying here, in this bed that we once shared I start to reminisce about all the times we've spent. The cuddles, the kisses…the stuff. Now, I sprawl across these sheets that we once were tangled up in together and I have mixed emotions. On one hand, I miss being that close to someone that I loved so very much. On the other, I am relieved to sprawl here alone…in control of my life and knowing full well that I am better for not being with you anymore. Bittersweet emotions, but having that kind of clarity is a gift all its own. Truth be told, its only a matter of time until this handsome guy that's on my mind cuddles here beside me. So, I've got a few things to mention today and I thought what better way than scantily clad in a bunny outfit? Being that its Easter Sunday, I think its fairly appropriate Don't argue with my logic, just go with it. The outfit first, is a fantastical Lazy Sunday item by * RezIpsa Loc * and comes in this brown as well as a pink/white version and the top comes with strapped/strapless options. The ears and fluffy tail are included in the outfit for a mere L$75. They're still out, so if you've got time for some last minute shopping and like to dress up go on and grab it up! Also, I still love and adore my Slink mesh feet. They are the best, I rarely wear shoes anymore. Yesterday, there were men's mesh feet released so guys…your stems can look this good too (almost)! The rigged works so friggin well with poses and AO's I can't even rave enough about these feet. They're amazing. Done.
Thought I'd do a little close up of the bunny face tattoo that is set for sale right next to these outfits for only L$5. So cute! And, of course…obligatory cleavage shot
Last, but certainly not least…the wonderful owner of the no longer in-world Olive Juice store, IsabellaGrace Baroque sent a lovely Easter gift to her subscriber group while I was in the midst of taking these photos. So, I paused for a moment and opened the box…grabbed this here basket and took another picture just because. I miss Olive Juice something terrible, but Pose Fair is coming up and so many wonderful pose brands will be taking part. The pose from the first picture is part of a Pose Fair Exclusive Pack from Cracked Mirror. Olive Juice – Look at This Haul! Pose
I'm all meshy today *squee*. Even though a lot of people out there have the mesh bug and are rockin it with love, there are still so many that don't know about it or just won't update their viewers to see/use it. That makes me sad, but what makes me happy again is seeing that I've created an outfit where I'm covered head to toe (literally, with these Slink feet *love*) in mesh!
Maii has released these two lovely mesh items for Wear Gray. I do want to point out, there was only one size but the dress fit me fine with a little mod on my boob area. The corset, that was a lot of modding but I do like it…I love me some corsets, so I don't mind. It's just a shape to tuck away for when I want to wear mesh corsets that have that deep dip in the waistline. I don't do it often, but I couldn't resist showing it off its very pretty. All lace and breath constriction
Wear Gray 2012 is in full swing and doing amazingly! Last time I saw an update on the numbers, the totals for donation were already at L$174,958 with donation jars and the L$ that is being donated by the designers exclusive creations and gacha items! After only being open a day, its incredible the support that can be shown within the community when we all rally together for an amazing cause. Sanura and Arora have done an amazing job putting this event together once again, and I am honored to be a part of it again as well. If you haven't stopped by, make sure you do. Wear Gray for a Day will close on April 22nd, so there is plenty plenty plenty of time to head down and find some great creations by wonderful designers and show your support to this beautiful charity. ♥ Have a great weekend!
