This is pretty much an unnecessary close-up to show the new skin I'm trying. Yes? No? Maybe? I like it 
its different, but cute. Story commences below!
Every now and then, I take a little time out to explore a new sim. It helps with locations for blog pictures sometimes, but mainly…I never really took the time to see all the amazing things that residents have created all over the grid. It's not just fashion out there, some beautifully decorated sims are out there waiting to be found and wandered around. What I didn't think to do was check out sims I have been to, but had never explored. Often times, there are stores on a sim that is amazingly decorated but rarely noticed because we TP into the stores, find what we want and TP out. I went wandering around Belle Epoche today, and ended up having a mini-concert on mic (alone, I might add) while snapping random photos around Cafe Belle.
Time for a little breather on the couch while I gather up steam for my next song. Now is the time I mention all my lovely new mesh are new releases from E! Eclectic Apparel. The store is growing by leaps and bounds, and putting out great new items all the time! The tee's come in several patterns, there was just something about this alien that said…wear me. The sun was setting, so I slipped on my new cozy sweater for my final number. My son requested his favorite son, its a doozy but I sang it for him because that's what mom's do.
Yep, my throat is going to be sore in the morning. Worth it.

I'm all meshy today *squee*. Even though a lot of people out there have the mesh bug and are rockin it with love, there are still so many that don't know about it or just won't update their viewers to see/use it. That makes me sad, but what makes me happy again is seeing that I've created an outfit where I'm covered head to toe (literally, with these Slink feet *love*) in mesh!
Maii has released these two lovely mesh items for Wear Gray. I do want to point out, there was only one size but the dress fit me fine with a little mod on my boob area. The corset, that was a lot of modding but I do like it…I love me some corsets, so I don't mind. It's just a shape to tuck away for when I want to wear mesh corsets that have that deep dip in the waistline. I don't do it often, but I couldn't resist showing it off its very pretty. All lace and breath constriction
Wear Gray 2012 is in full swing and doing amazingly! Last time I saw an update on the numbers, the totals for donation were already at L$174,958 with donation jars and the L$ that is being donated by the designers exclusive creations and gacha items! After only being open a day, its incredible the support that can be shown within the community when we all rally together for an amazing cause. Sanura and Arora have done an amazing job putting this event together once again, and I am honored to be a part of it again as well. If you haven't stopped by, make sure you do. CHIC Management's first event, the start of all the greatness was Back to Black in 2010. Since then, they've been organizing events a few times a year that are full of epic win. Amazing designers always come out to join a CHIC event, and I am honored each and every time to be chosen as a blogger. All the details of this years Back to Black event can be found on the CHIC Site, as well as the blogs that will be scattered about in no time.
This won't be my only blog, as we all know I can't shut up so I'll have a few more outfits to show off for the event. I chose this one because, well…Bouncer Criss is an asshat and keeps calling me Not So Angelic. Being that I am the PERFECT ANGEL, I felt that I needed to really let him know that he's emphatically wrong. Also, Nemesis did an amazing job with this bodysuit, I meant to photograph the back of it because I really love it. I guess you'll just have to go check it out for yourselves now, won't you! ESPECIALLY when it makes me look all cute. I have what has increasingly become a huge skin folder that is now folder-filed into brands so I can find the ones I want semi-faster! I've been a member of a lot of groups, and for one blogging assignment or another job, something of that sort I've let them go. I was fortunate enough to all this time keep the *moJo* Body Boutique group and recently there was a group notice that a few of the past skin gifts were out for the members to grab in case they had lost theirs or SL had ate them up. I got all *yay* about it because of this particular skin. I never got the chance to get it and I happen to think its awesome. The little tribal henna looking designs on the body are really cool, kind of remind me of hieroglyphics. Since I'm trying to keep this a family show, I covered the naughty bits to the best of my ability while still showing off the details of the body. The .:-CatniP-:. Censor Bars that I got off of MP helped with that! I can't get over how pretty the face is on this skin, *moJo* does some great faces and I think this one fits my shape pretty well. If any of you out there are looking for a new skin store and haven't been there yet, I would encourage a little trip by! Grab some demo's and get lost in the awesome of skin shopping

I am a slacker of epic proportions with these challenges. I think the last color I did was white [hangs head in shame!]. Don't lynch me, I've been sooo busy and RL has been nuts too! Seeee you can't get mad when there's all that going on right? Ok so I love to find new interesting stores and I am so not a fan of pink so this became a hard thing to think of. Lately I've been thinking I wanted to be a bit more edgy but this picture really didn't come out as hardcore as I had originally planned. I did do the nekkid thing though, and I think these pink ruffle flats are adorable. The dress is also from the same location, and there are so many different colors available. (They have orange shades for men AND women, hint-hint for next week lol). So where is it from? A cute little store that is new to the Hide & Seek sim. We all know by now I have a love affair with Olive Juice poses, and this store is right on the next plot from there. The jeans for men and women are fantastic, in case anyone else is a jean fanatic. They make the toosh look good enough to nibble….the women's version as well! Bwahahah It's called (Cracked Mirror) so should you all be stumped for a color one day, stop by. Some great, colorful shades available and when I went there was a couple hot guys there too so hey, mingle…shop LOL whateverrrr!
Happy Birthday, Luna! She picked pink as her color for this week (ick! lol) and her picture is adorable!! Yay for the challenge, I can't believe it's almost done *sigh*

Christmastime is soooo hectic! I've been working my festively dressed pixels off trying to blog so many things, as well as take care of my everyday responsibilities in SL as well as life itself. Now, although Cerise is not technically pink I have to say my inventory is not really riddled with pink-like shades such as this. So I went on a mini shopping spree! As a blogger on a budget, I was off in search of the super cute and affordable to bring my A-GAME to this challenge.
While I was working, earning my shopping lindens lol I saw a woman come in shoe shopping and I liked her hair. So, being a nosy type I inspected it and saved the creator's name for later. Sold some b*tchin shoes, helped some customers and was generally being awesome! LOL afterwards, I searched the name I had stored away and TP'd to her mainstore. The name of the store was Artilleri, and I fell in love. My outfit is a few pieces from there although you know as well as I that I just went to check out the hair. I got that, and the glasses lol the cardigan which is sooo cute! Also, the loverly skirt that I thought matched the color on Luna's blog pretty dang well! Artilleri is filllllled with all kinds of amazing goodies and I would advise anyone that hasn't yet been to definitely go check it out. It is very retro vintage incredibleness, so if you are into that at all you must must check out this store.
My shoes are of course from my wonderful workplace, Similar Italian Footwear. This is the Venezia, which I have in the 16 color pack and I chose the maroon shade to go with my outfit ta-daaa lol. The tank underneath all of that Artilleri wear is a simple black tank from {paper.doll} which I love, comes in all layers and really is the perfect go-to tank when you need a little layer affect. The pose is from my loverly new friend Milli Santos, posemaker extraordinaire of NSA – No Strings Attached. It is the 'Song in my heart' set and the mic is included for both hands with poses inside of them. I had a lot of fun with this one, I must say. I even searched for a Christmas cerise background and this pretty lil ornament came up. All in all I'd call it a success! Hope you all have an amazing holiday <3 see ya next challenge!

The lovely and talented Anya Ohmai told me today about the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge that was created by Luna Jubilee. It is currently in it's 4th week and I was immediately interested in joining the fun. It seems like a totally creative way to blog as well as joining together with other bloggers to see what we all come up with. In addition, I think it will help me to just be a better blogger all around. We can all be exposed to brands that we aren't familiar with, and broaden our SL horizons!
This week's color is plum and I was frantic because I don't really wear many shades of purple. It happens to be my sister's favorite color, and even she doesn't wear it much. I thought and thought about it and I initially wanted to do a Plum Bedroom scene but I couldn't really find anything I liked. So I went with what I know…clothes! The shirt is from paper.doll, and it is "Imagine" in Plum. The leggings are also paper.doll, WildThing in Amethyst. The foot laces are from Scribble, and they are purple as well. Fhang Candy made the skin I'm wearing, which has a light purple makeup palette. The hair is Truth and I colored the headband purple although it's not quite that easy to see with the pose I chose. NSA created this pose that I thought went wonderfully, as I wanted to seem like I was skipping freely through purple grass. Nifty that I found purple grass, huh. Had a blast on my first try for the Challenge…can't wait to see what we have to come up with next!

Well, lately I've been quite the thrifty avi. I've abstained from shopping semi-crazily like usual, thinking ooh I can blog this and I can blog that and of course, using some of it but really not blogging most of it lol. So, my inventory is overflowing with clothing I don't wear anymore and things I've not worn yet which is so not me! I actually have a folder of things I meant to open and totally forgot about. Seriously…it's becoming a sickness. So, in the wake of Shocktoberfest and The Call for Couture and the multitude of clothing I got for these events I started thinking that I should just run through the things I have and see what I can showcase. I will of course put up pics on occasion of things you can't get anymore and you will cry but I will be willing and somewhat able to let you cry on my shoulder. Just for a bit though, cuz ya gotta get over it at some point! These two looks OMG I was in awe of the shortness of the skirt from MonS but I know alot of females embrace the short short stuff and the ultra sexy look so I wanted to let everyone know that MonS has a 50L store and that is where this outfit is from. For 50L you get 3 colors, top and skirt! It's unheard of but true…I got them! I also got a super cute top with ruffles that has a lil belly showing and that came with 4 colors for 50L. Amazing right? The second look I actually just got, it was a group freebie from ::Hucci:: and I love the fall color and argyle look to it. And the sexy sprinkled in with the length of the sweater dress. Both looks are paired with my Sim-I-Lar Footwear because they are my new favorite thing to wear, any style the shoes are incredible and affordable! I really can't say enough about the poses that Milli makes…she's just awesome and makes some totally creative stuff! The hair is from Truth, of course. While I was hangin out in my yard, I got the silly notion to take a picture with the things I had bought about 20 minutes beforehand. I copped a squat on my nifty folding chair and showed off my 50L Friday Reek Boots that Aeris bought for me because she was appauled that I would contemplate a 50L purchase. I see where she was goin with that but the eye rolling was unnecessary. We were talking in IM and yes, I can tell when she rolls her eyes at me! The skirt is an oldie but goodie from DeeTaleZ that I love, and will some day go back and get the other styles of and the top with orange jacket is a sweet lil find from The Dressing Room. It's a great deal made by R.icielli and I don't have to wear the jacket with just the tee! It's 2 pieces which means yay 
and the chair….ummm the chair I got as a gift from MudHoney! The colaborations with MudHoney and Glitterati are some really awesome stuff and this chair has 9 poses in it which is pretty nifty if I do say so myself…and I do!

What can I tell ya? Sometimes the mood hits you and ya must go spend some lindens. I tp'd to The Dressing Room, the deals there I luv it! I've got maybe 3 or 4 skins so far, and some great Baiastice outfits…ummmm some [glow.] makeup layers also mhm very cool. Yesterday I got a notecard from CHANTKARE and decided to stop on over there and check out the goods. There was this omg-so-cute sweater dress that came in 3 colors. And I debated the color for about 10 minutes, i'm so indecisive. I settled finally on the red, and then scanned the room some more and saw this Ming Jacket which I liked so I got, and the matching bracelets that were in the picture and on the shelf as well lol. Check out my boots! Love em, they're so delish it's ridiculous. They're from Sim-I-Lar Footwear and the prices in that place will make you cry and buy! Amazing quality and great pricing, can't go wrong!! I have lm's if anyone ever needs them lol. Ok, so my hair I got at Hair fair, its by Calico Ingmann and then I rocked my eStyle skin because I love them for so many occasions. The skirt is from COCO, I got it for my bday/rez day from my stalk-ee…the loverly Aeris lol. The pose in the picture is by NSA – No Strings Attached and the pose pack is called Whimsy. If you haven't checked this pose store out yet, you MUST. She makes some amazing poses and props also, so cute. The other is a walk I caught in mid-stride by Posies.
Ok, I got sidetracked…back to The Dressing Room! So, I was having the most difficult time teleporting in the history of me on SL. I was sooo frustrated, it was incredible. Couldn't go anywhere! After a bit, I tried again and was able to get into the Dressing Room. Mind you, I was in the one that didn't have what I came to buy, but of course I wanted stuff there too lol. 15 minutes later, I was able to tp over to the one I usually go to and I got the new Baiastice outfit which is super cute but I still haven't found shoes I like to wear it with so I digress hehe, no pic yet. I did, however see a totally adorable *Fishy Strawberry* sweater, which I snatched up and rocked with my CM jeans. Like them? Lemme know! I'll tell u how to get them, they're as yet unreleased so you will be the only one of your friends to own them unless of course, one of your friends is moi.
