Now that more and more viewers are starting to update with Mesh implemented, I can see all of the new goodies really taking off. I still don't religiously use Firestorm because I'm just not used to it and when I need to do something fast I can't sit there and wonder where my search button is or where the heck my inventory went. I am using it more and more, especially because all these Mesh designers are stealing my lindens! It'd be nice to see all the things that I've bought so far lol. As I'm sure everyone knows by now I am a huge fan of Anya Ohmai. I bought her collection when she still had her store open on Cheesecake and used the outfits not only for a blog but for my blog banner! Imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon the realization that she was 1/2 of another dynamic sister duo! Sue has been doing amazing things in her own right so I thought it was high time I celebrated that. TP'd over to Beetle Bones and grabbed every demo in the place, tried things on to see how they went with my shape (I've not done any tweaking thus far for mesh) and I decided to be pretty first
. I have seen this dress on a few blogs, and I thought the peach color went well with the tan tone of skin I tend to wear. Also, I had that gorgeous cameo set from FuLo that went so perfectly with it. I think the dress is somewhat simple, and elegant. Who doesn't want to be that every now and then? I don't wear many gowns anymore but I did make an exception for this one, the way mesh moves with your body is so fantastic. Really can't get enough of it!

I LOVE THESE PANTS. That could really be all I say about them lol, they're just great! I did wear them with a shirt layer also, but the simplicity of this was like YES, in my head my computer was screaming at me to just do it. Who doesn't like the slight promise of a peek o' nipple? I couldn't choose which color I want so in all actuality I'll probably go back and buy a new color every time I want to switch it up. Ooh, funny story! I went to the Truth District thing, and ended up buying this hair that was in fact not part of the sale. I kinda love it though, it looks like I just woke up looking fabulous and ready to go. Oh, also the poses I'm using are bikini poses by *MP* which have the bendy legs so that I can show all the mesh awesomeness gliding down my leg and NOT going into the floor all weird like.

Like I had said…I really do love these pants lol. I thought I'd pick the talented Sue's brain just a bit about her mesh goodies and incredible skills!
Anj: Did you know mesh before it was implemented into Second Life?
Sue: No, I actually dont have any prior 3d background before creating in SL. SL got me interested in 3D as it is pretty much like crafting without the need for physical materials. I decided to venture into mesh after watching mesh videos by Machinnimatrix (http://blog.machinimatrix.org/) and I learnt how to create mesh purely from their awesome tutorials and alot of experimenting on 3D programs.
Anj: That's awesome, I sort of did the same watching video tutorials to better my photography. I still have lots of work to do but I'm getting better. You really soaked up all that information and put it to good use. Uber impressive! You have made some very lovely designs in what seems like not a lot of time. Did you have a certain inspiration for what you have created so far? Or did they just happen?
Sue: Thank you. The recent things I created were individual pieces rather than a collection, therefore it did not need much planning or designing work. They are more of basic items that I have in my closet or things that I would want to wear in my RL.
Anj: I would definitely wear those pants in RL and those flowy tanks are perfect for California weather! What new items can we look forward to seeing released at Beetle Bones soon? Will you stay with clothing, or branch out into accessories? Other objects?
Sue: I'm really not sure because I create alot of random things, sometimes just to experiment and mostly just for fun. I've pretty much made close to everything including animations, skins, furnitures, prefabs, food items, hair, bags, shoes etc…*LOL* I'm really not sure what i will be making in the future, but right now I will be concentrating mostly on the building of my sim with anya ohmai (RL sister) which we hope everyone will like.
Anj: I'm sooo looking forward to seeing the sim! To see what both you and Anya can cook up together is going to surely be something. Let me stop being all fangirly now LOL! What do you think is the hardest thing about bringing mesh onto the grid as a designer?
Sue: The hardest part about mesh right now for me would be fitting of the clothes. This has been the biggest problem for me and many designers as there are so many different body shapes in SL. I have been getting many feedbacks on size and fitting so hopefully I will improve in time and make my clothes more wearable for everyone.
Anj: I can understand that. I know a lot of people have had to tweak their beloved shapes a bit in order to wear mesh but I don't find it all that difficult. The average sizes seem to work on me, as far as mesh clothing and even the shoes. I've been lucky, Beetle Bones Medium Sizes are a perfect fit for the most part. Depending on poses, that can change I suppose but the variety of sizes you provide hopefully helps most avatars out there slip into some mesh with ease! Thank you so much for all your hard work and the so far incredibly well made designs. I'm excited to see what you design next, personally

This shirt would show off my tattoo if I had it in RL! I kind of envision it being really airy and light, perfect for a day out in the summer sun with some hot pants like these that show a little toosh LOL. Ok, I don't walk around like that daily, but I'd for sure wear the tank. I like the lace in the back, but still subtle in the front so there's no nipple to be flashed at the local grocery store. The pants are brand new from DeeTaleZ, HighRise Hotpants in Brown for fall fun. Happen to like my avi's toosh so any excuse really to show it off…

When I tried on the demo of this top, I had this vision of straddling a chair with nothing but the top and these friggin a fabulous boots on. I couldn't find the chair, so I adapted but still…the vision lives on in my head. THESE BOOTS OMG, they are ah-mazing. I stood in Slink for about a half hour debating which color to get, which as we all know black is so versatile so for some reason we always end up with it. I have too many black shoes, but I couldn't deny that I NEEDED THESE. If anything will get you to stay on a mesh viewer, its being able to pull out these babies everyday lol. Of course, if your friends don't have the viewer then to them you look like someone's amputated your legs and you're roaming around the grid surfing on an egg. This tank comes in two versions, sheer and solid as well as the I believe 5 different sizes? There could be more, don't quote me on that I'm not signed in to double check but there are plenty to try out and hopefully you will one day go home with your own hoard of mesh clothing to try on and adore! So many designers are trying their hand at mesh now, some are coming out great *see above!* and some aren't quite there yet. Mesh is here to stay either way, some of us out there can't live without it anymore. I'll never ditch my other clothing, but bringing mesh into your SLife can enhance it should you be so bold as to let it! Creators are doing big things with a new resource now, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for all of us fashion-y types. Mesh hair, furniture, shoes, clothing…avatars! Seems like the sky is the limit, and I've got my head firmly planted in the clouds.
