Hello, Good Morning

Happy Saturday!  I realize I'd worn this lingerie set in another blog but didn't really touch on the fact that it is a brand new release from Gawk!  Feeding my mesh addiction, I"ve also got the new release from Elikatira.  This is a great sort of everyday hair, I like it a lot.  Its right around the same length as my RL hair and falls the same sort of way, so I think that's pretty cool.  Obviously, my hair moves LOL but I'm a fan of this mesh hair for sure. 

Fashion for Life begins today and there are 10 sims opening at 12pm SLT with fashiony goodies for all!  I have no idea how long it will take me to see everything, but I will be giving it a go!  There is a raffle to win prizes, lots of gacha machines and of course every designer has designated Relay for Life vendors.  Those vendors hold the items that were donated by all the generous creators, with the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.  FFL has been going on for years now, and I look forward to it always.  Designers seem to bring their A-game with new releases for this event so you really can't go wrong checking it out.

Its very quiet right now…very peaceful.  I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend, relax and take some time out to just enjoy life.  Simple pleasures.

March Gacha Madness

It has taken me all of 5 days to find someone to steal for pictures.  You would think it wouldn't be hard, but apparently I have no social skills or game.  Anyway, I finally got a friendly man type to help me again so I took the pics as quickly as I could with as minimal editing of the poses as possible.  This is not an easy feat, my avi is fairly small and his is very tall.  I made it work to the best of my ability!  So, I went to the Depraved Sim the day the gacha event was to start and I really have to be honest…I didn't get much.  I was hugely distracted by a naked man telling me I had a nice ass.  Not a good distracted either, so imagine my distress. 

I wandered a bit, some machines were out and not filled so…what can ya do.  *sigh*  I got these HolliPocket Fishups and can you believe all 3 I got were pinkish colors?  I wasn't having a good morning…but I continued on.  Actually, I got a little toy that you hug in your hands?  I lost it though, somewhere in my inventory so I hope I find it because it was cute actually.  I should re-organize soon, with all the events lately I've let things get a bit chaotic.

Bounce This Poses has 6 new couple poses, most with a prop of some kind included.  I didn't use the tongues and whatnot because…well Liq is like a very cute, and annoying brother so…mounting him was weird enough.  Lets not go there.  Moving on!  There's tongues to sop each other down with, the whiskey glasses and the chair.  They are only 50L per play and pretty cool for pics.  There are about 40ish vendors participating so there's really a lot to grab I just didn't have the time or focus to do so but I'll go back!  In the meantime, you all can head down to the Depraved Sim and run wild with all the gacha machines and grab some fun stuff to take home and play with.  Gacha Madness ends on the 17th, so don't forget!

Day 4 – Roll the dice

So, today is Superbowl Sunday.  I'm rooting for the Giants, because they are from New York and that is where my heart will always live even if my body doesn't.  This pose is in dedication to all the women that don't watch football with their men.  Sometimes, you just want to know you can actually distract them from the game.  This particular position might not be a bad way.  Face down, ass up…that's the way we like to have fun times!

As you can see, I sidetracked from fixing up my house today.  Why? Because I didn't know what I wanted to rez next and I gave up, SUE ME.  Anyway, if any of you are in the market for a new SL home Harlow Heslop's store is closing and all her builds are on sale!  I think its being taken down tomorrow, as is the info I got from Plurk (which is obviously iron clad info lol).  It's called Honey, I'm Home! and there are a few skyboxes and homes/cottages to choose from. 

Whomever you are rooting for, or not rooting for enjoy the day and the night.  FDAU.  I'm just sayin…

New @ Gawk

Today is a Gawk! kind of day.  My lingerie challenge blog later will be some more smexeh Gawk but for now I'm focusing on new releases.  These multi-shaded dresses are Mell's newest release and I really like them.  I've been wearing this for like 2 days, which I never do because my inventory is overflowing with awesome.  I just think its really cute, I have also worn the yellow one.  They can be worn as a mini dress, with or without tights…or even as a long sweater with some jeans or something.  I opted for tights because I don't want my assets being shown off in every post lately!  I'll save that for the undies blogs lol.

Also, I took this photo at the lovely Hide and Seek sim after spending a good 30 minutes buying everything in Olive Juice that I don't already have.  I'm so sad this sim is closing, and Olive Juice as well.  Isabella has made some of my favorite poses and it'll be sad to see the store close down.  If you haven't gone yet, you should!  There's so much to choose from, men and women and couples quirky and fun poses.  Show some love to a pose designer that will be sooo missed! ♥

Hold me a little longer

There's a lot to be said about seeing someone across a crowded room.  It can mean nothing, and it can mean everything.  One unspoken moment in time that catches your breath or makes your heart stop.  Sometimes, that's all it takes.  Sometimes…they feel it too.  Not always, to be sure.  When the sparks fly together, there is potential for amazing fireworks.

This moment doesn't come along very often, so when you feel it you have to seize it.  Capture it, act upon it and KNOW that this is your time.  If you're not particularly bold most of the time, shed that shy skin for a few minutes and GIT IT.  Believe me when I tell you, they don't come around often and for the most part are so worth the wait.

They stare until eyes become a greyish blue cloud of intrique.  Moving closer together, wanting to know more.  Wanting to feel more.  A simple embrace can be the difference between like and love.  Between lust and adoration.  When you touch, everything becomes so clear.  You cherish the feel, the scent of this person pressed up against you and you know…this is where you should be.  Even the world around you seems to quiet down now that you have discovered this passion.  Whether it lasts or not, in this minute…it is perfection.

I had this pose to blog for the 2011 Props & Poses Fair.  Not one to go into details on drama, I'll just say its closed but I still believe the creators that took so much time out make all these amazing things deserve to have their work shown.  There will be a few more, I think.  I'll have to look and see what I've got but bottom line is, their work will not go unnoticed.  Might take them all a few days to get new releases into their mainstore locations so be on the lookout for them and as always – Support Creative Talent!  ♥  Thank you once again to Liquidhell Carter for helping me with some photos!

Vintage Fair 2011 Begins!

4pm SLT has hit and the Vintage Fair is under way!  The vintage designs are to DIE FOR and the sim is already filling up faster than I can type.  Leave it to me to post my blog late, I was hoping to hit publish right at 4pm but such is the life of a momma -slash- blogging fanatic!  I picked a few more pieces from my 2011 VF folder and snapped some photos.  I must say, the new [e] hair from Collabor88 came in handy this week!  What a lifesaver this adorable hairstyle is.  Thanks so much to Elikatira for making my life slightly easier this weekend :D

I’m so behind!

/me takes a moment to weep.

That's what I get for being a busy blogger!  Alright so, Gawk! had a few new releases and even though they've been out a couple weeks I still want to take the time to blog them.  I've used a top for another post but it's not the same dagnabit.  Made a promise to myself that I'd catch up on all of the items in my new release folder and if I remember correctly this is the first batch that I got.  I usually get a bit of lady wood when one of the fantastical sisters releases anything new so being a blogger for them is a great honor!

These are the Darling tops, they come polka dotted or plain colors so I opted to show off one of each.  Like I said in my last post, I went banana sammich at the Elikatira sale so there will be a bit of it sprinkled around and I hope no one minds but if you do TOUGH! Bwahaha…

The workout gear that Mell has been releasing lately takes me back to a very 80's place.  I was just a teenie chick back in those days but I remember watching all the popular 80's movies when I was in High School and they were already oldies.  I always wanted to be in the dance line rockin out to Footloose!  Or be a young, puerto rican Jennifer Beals and wear my sweater too big so it hung over my shoulder.  Ah memories :P   All this and so many more amazing designs can be found at Gawk! so hop on it and TP over there asap.

She’s a Maniac!

How sporty do I look right now?!  Gotta keep my avi in shape lol and Gawk! has all the sports wear you need for active times.  Bodysuits, leggings and sport knee socks in so many different color combinations, it boggles the mind.  the socks can be worn with or without the prim foot attachment.  I think the attachment looks much cleaner when you're tip toeing about and the leggings can be worn without the socks which makes it great to pair with some sneakers.  There are also leg and arm warmers, very 80's I must say I wanted very much to play power ballads, shake my hair out and rock on.

The poses are from (Cracked Mirror), great for action shots I think although I didn't really do that.  The sports teams in SL would benefit from these though, I think.  Group photos, anyone? The hair in all 4 of the looks are new releases from ^;^CaTwA^;^ and totally worth checking out.  All in all, I think it all turned out great.  I'm still working hard everyday to improve my art, so thanks for all those that have been hanging in since the beginning.  Blogging has become more than a hobby for me, its a release and a way to express myself even if no one is listening.  I'm grateful for all of you out there that take the time to listen! <3

Challenge <3

We're at it again, Isabel and I!  I put her in a headlock until she bent to my will and did another challenge with me!  Being that we are both huge DeeTaleZ & Gawk! lovahs, this was the perfect combination for us to kick ass in.  Funnily enough, when we were ready to shoot, we had to change a couple outfits because we were dressed near identically.  After a few giggles, we changed a few things and here we are!  FYI, I already had this blog done and my browser threw me under the bus.  My initial post was pretty epic, so I hope I can make this one as good lol.

This first look is the compilation of both of us having to change an outfit and we even picked the same pants in the end, just different colors.  I find it quite funny but all that matters is we worked it out and came up with some awesome to blog lol.  It's too bad my rosary doesn't show up too well, and also my hand looks cut off by my handbag.  Ah, the fun little giggles to make all the hard work worthwhile. :P

We both chose this skirt and I got to keep it!  Woot!  Then also, her dress she got to keep because we were both wearing that as well.  Sometimes we are so alike it's scary, and other times its like we don't shop at exactly the same stores (which we do! er…sometimes).  Moving ON! I think the look is sort of simple and sweet with a dash of sexy, which is what I think the point of D. Select was for Steffi and DeeTaleZ in general.  This Kiddo skin is the first skin line for D. Select and I think I really like the glossiness of the lips.  I'm so all about lips.  The bracelet-slash-rings on my hands just really seemed to work with the skirt and look in general.  I hope you think so too!


This particular pic ended up being our slor-ey looks lol.  Isa with her big hair and clunky jewelry and myself walking around with a bikini like it was a complete outfit lol.  Thank goodness this was one of the times we didn't dress alike, as I had already blogged a different color of that dress and its summertime so yay for mix-and-matchable bikinis!  Little rocker in me came out, sporting a mohawk with grey streaks and stiletto boots that make me look 10x longer!  Make sure you take a trip down to DeeTaleZ and check it all out, as well as the D. Select wing.  There's always a little bit of everything there that you will want so bad it will make you droooooool.
