This post is really for no reason in particular lol. Sometimes I just like what I have on and I take a picture of it to share. Also, the show The Voice has re-awakened my crush on Adam Levine and I have been watching Maroon 5 video's on my laptop while I heal up in bed. Really good times, let me tell you what. There is something very sexy about that man, and normally he's not my type at all, but rawr dude…rawr.
Being that the mood was seriously rockin' today, I did a look that isn't my normal style but in all honesty when no one sees me walking around or on a blog this is what I tend to look like. I'm a casual type chick sometimes lol, and its fun to not be so dang prettied up. Between FLF, Old Magika Sales and Inventory Cleaning fun not to mention a rockin dollarbie here is the photo I came up with. And just to show how cute I think it is, I took a little close up also that's posted down yonder. Yay for good stuff hanging out in your inventory waiting to be worn again!

We're at it once again, my people! This challenge is now Isabel's obsession, I think she's trying hard to find an item to trip me up with that will make me succumb to her styling. Well…NEVER I SAY! lol. It really is a blast though, so here we go! I chose for my item The Secret Store's new release 'The FrouFrou Skirt' and yes, I did pick the blue. But in my defense, I just liked it and she can't make me wear pink! We bought them at the Maritima Mall, which is another place I work [I need a vacation!] and there are some great stores there! By now, this skirt may have been blogged to death, but I must give it a shout out also. Maylee really kicks serious toosh on the sculpting, she's got some great items! I think I went half punk, half cute with this look hehe, and while I didn't mean to really I like how it came out. The hair is by RAW HOUSE, so fun and playful. I also have a purple tinted hairbase by booN, which was made for men but oh well. Smexy skull grunge bikini top alert! hehe, that and the socks are both in black and compliments of DeeTaleZ. I'm addicted. 'Nuff said. UBU Porn Star sneaks that my loverly Aeris bought me like…2 years ago that still hold up to this very day. Quality, people…quality.
This look has the only thing I went out to buy specifically for this blog lol. I saw it on MP and TP'd to the store to check things out again. I had been there before, but I was only half paying attention. [Pink Outfitters] has some super cute finds, I would highly advise a trip over! Not sure if the earrings are noticeable? They are Lotus Flower earrings from Dark Mouse, I've had them for quite awhile and they are so teenie and detailed, so cute. The shoes are from Similar Footwear. Awesome shoes, cool customers and 2 talented, kickass owners. The Dressing Room is a weekly spot I have to frequent, and that is where the [e] Glory hair was an exclusive from. All in all I enjoyed putting this look together, the hardest part was choosing which shoes I wanted to wear that day lol.
I really dug into the 'ole inventory for this look, because at the end of the night I was torturing myself trying to find something cute and flirty to wear for the challenge. Nightmarish to find a white top lol, a simple white top! Nothing was the style I wanted, its criminal the time I took looking for a plain white top. This tank is actually a piece of a dress from Elate! which I luv so much. Kellie's hand drawing is so amazing…ugh no words lol. The shoes are an old school purchase from J's that I have had forever now and only worn once. When I got them I was like YES I'm going to buy so many brown items to rock these out with! Sure didn't. The bracelets are from a set, the Wanderer set from *League* and the hair is my first chewy style from Magika lol. I rarely rock the pigtails but I find this so cute! Isa did a good job also, I enjoyed her looks and you can too! I'm so sorry I can't do my normal blabbering on about alot of nothing lol [or maybe your welcome? bwahahha]. I am in the process of going back home to the west coast, cleaning out all the things I had stored here at 'old home' aka the East Coast is draining me like I never thought possible. I will be back to my normal ranting self in no time! Until then, I'm just another picture poster *wah* but I desperately needed to show more! I don't like blogging an event and only covering a few things. I'm a multitasker! I want to make room for it all! LOL ooh side note! I was a total slacker last week and didn't get a chance to do the challenge! Bah! But I made sure I did it with time left this time around so that I wouldn't be a loser yet again lol. So, I was thinking what I would do for emerald and I thought about doing jewelry. In the end, I got a note card that Elate! is having and anniversary sale and everything is 50% off woohoo! So I went and bought a bunch of stuff and realized that nothing was emerald colored lol. HOWEVER! I did have a dress from before that is emerald colored with black lace overlaying it and so I am killing 2 birds with one stone! Letting everyone know about the sale as well as showing off Kellie Iwish's amazing skills. My photography skills do her no justice but I'm getting better I promise! The shoes are of course, from Similar Italian Footwear and this is our newest release…the first open toed style Scilla. Oh! The poses are from Olive Juice, the subscriber let me know there was a sale and I took friends. We shut the place down, I think I bought half the store and the other 2 I went with each bought up everything in the shop. It was craziness lol. The things we do in SL, I swear…My brand spankin new Curio skin is so fun, I luv the glossy lippers. Good times lol. Can't wait to sift through everyone else's emerald looks!!

Nowadays, everyone is all about the tattoo layer makeup. It is popping up everywhere, in skin shops and even in clothing shops! I was…I think I was working and dodging group notices here and there when somehow I came across a listing for a sim that supposedly looks like Manhattan. Being a NY'er I got all excited and wanted to see what it looked like as well as how it resembled the real deal. So I patiently played tug of war with the time clock and when it was time to leave, I punched out and TP'd right over to this sim. I landed in a shop, but I didn't know it was a shop right away being that everything was so gray. Apparently alot of work went into that sim so I was excited to wander around a little bit and check out the build, as well as the shops on the sim. We all know I can't resist an impromptu shopping spree. 
So, once the shop started to rez I saw a box with lips on it. It was for tat layer lipstick and it was like…I don't know…60L maybe? I can't remember for sure and my viewer is acting up right now so I can't check. Not that I would…well I might. Anyway, I've become somewhat obsessed with finding a skin for myself that has that perfect dark red lip for the smoldering latina evening look lol. Yep, that's what I call it! As of now, I haven't found it and I am still looking but these tattoo layers could be the answer to my prayers. I have a bunch of skins that I love love LOVEEE but the lips aren't dark red. Pinks, yep and nudes oh I've got a bunch. I love the dark smokey eye with the nude lip look. I even go for it in RL, so I went a tad overboard with that. I just want one skin to have the tone I'm looking for and I can end this madness once and for all! *LOL* As for the tattoo layers, I haven't found the shade of red I'm looking for as of now so I hope to randomly come across it and excitedly tell you all about it.
Once I had rezzed, I realized I was in a shop that was specifically created to make and sell tattoo layered makeups! There is a definite variety of the genre you can just delve right in and make yourself at home putting together a million looks right there in your head lol. Some of them weren't really what I would call my style, but I know alot of models out there love the extreme fierce look and the dark makeup or dramatic colors. I have to say the variety is really what stuck with me. So, even though I am completely overrun with the amount of groups I have I joined this one also. I don't think I'll be leaving it, to be honest. The owner is super nice, chats with the group and asks opinions of her customers. She has started making skins, all the skins and layer makeups in the pictures here are hers.
In the 3 days that I have been a member of the group I think she's sent out 3 or 4 gifts. At least 2 have been skins from the new line she is working on! I've never been in a group like that before haha, but it's totally fun and everyone is polite…the gifts are awesome. I bought a fantastic layer makeup called 'The Clone' that comes in black & white in the same box and its such a shame I refuse to use V2 [so hard! waaaah] because they are 2 part face tats and I can't wear it yet! I hope TPV's can allow us that also because I'd really enjoy showing it off!
Soooo have I kept you waiting long enough? Hehe…the name of the shop is Elegant Epiffany and it is owned by Bubble Faintree! For the Budget Impaired on SL, she has gatcha available and also lucky chair. Group members can participate in Midnight Madness or…is that what it's called? I think so! There is a group gift at the shop, and like I said random one's via the group itself. I'd recommend joining if you enjoy wearing the makeup layers. It's a great, affordable new little place with enough different styles that anyone can find something they'd enjoy! And at some point I have to go back…because I never did check out the rest of that sim build…

Men will never understand. I don't know about other women, but I need to be 'in the mood' to wear something. It's not just about where I'm going, but how I feel that day. You can look at a closet filled with clothing [or an inventory, in this case!] and find nothing you want to wear. Well, I took it upon myself to leave Gio at home tinkering with his crazy new talking birdy and I left to do a little bit of browsing. Somehow, I ended up in Miel lol as I do on plenty of occasions and I thought hey why don't I check out the neighboring shops? Come to think of it, I don't recall ever doing so. I got a little caught up in the rainy-ness of the sim and started skipping around, forgetting what I had gone there for in the first place and I am positive I skipped my way into a full circle. I was just about to retrace my steps and start again when I saw what looked like scales out of the corner of my eye. They were red, and I was curious so I walked into the shop. EVERYTHING in the store was hand drawn [is it hand drawn? painted? I dunno it was done by hand] and just beautiful! The Penelope dress immediately caught my eye as something that was made perfectly and seemingly tediously. The scale pattern that grabbed my attention was the skirt of the dress, and the tops came in a matching color or a neutral. 8 different colors, 2 ways to wear each. Can we say bargain??? The store is Elate! and just the name itself is exciting, isn't it lol. The Designer -slash- Owner is Kellie Iwish, and she is completely sweet totally open to anyone interested in her store or any customers needing assistance. Can I just add right here that her mainstore also has prefabs and furniture? Of course I can, it's my blog! Moving on…I spoke with her a few minutes and immediately got the good tingly vibes…ah! I knew an entry would commence. So I think this was about when I started mentally shopping in my inventory for hair, shoes, etc. and I'm fairly positive Gio dozed off at that point…this having been the first day of Hair Fair, he knew I was in for a long night…
